PrintFy 3D Warranty Coverage

Comprehensive protection for your 3D printing investments with clear terms and conditions

Manufacturer's Warranty

All PrintFy 3D products come with the following warranty coverage from date of purchase:

Extended Warranty Available: Purchase up to 3 additional years of coverage for printers during checkout or within 30 days of purchase.

What's Covered

Manufacturing Defects

We cover all defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, including:

  • Faulty electronic components
  • Mechanical failures not caused by wear
  • Structural defects in printer frames
  • Heating system failures
  • Manufacturing flaws in filaments/resins

Technical Support

Your warranty includes:

  • Free remote troubleshooting
  • Firmware updates
  • Replacement parts shipping (for covered items)
  • Access to premium support channels

Proof of Purchase Required: You must provide original receipt or order confirmation for all warranty claims.

What's Not Covered

Exclusions & Limitations

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from improper use, maintenance, or storage
  • Normal wear and tear (nozzles, FEP films, build plates, etc.)
  • Consumable parts (LCD screens in resin printers after 6 months)
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Acts of nature (floods, power surges, etc.)
  • Software issues not related to hardware
  • Used or opened filaments/resins

Voiding Conditions

Your warranty becomes void if:

  • Printer casing is opened by unauthorized personnel
  • Serial number is altered or removed
  • Products are used commercially without proper maintenance
  • Non-original parts cause system failures

Commercial Use Limitation: Printers used in commercial environments require quarterly professional maintenance to maintain warranty coverage.

Claim Process

Initial Diagnosis

Contact our support team at warranty@printfy3d.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos/videos of the issue
  • Description of the problem
  • Steps you've already tried

Troubleshooting

Our technicians will:

  • Verify warranty coverage
  • Guide you through diagnostic steps
  • Determine if remote resolution is possible

Resolution

Depending on the issue:

  • We'll ship replacement parts with instructions
  • Arrange for in-warranty repair service
  • Provide prepaid return label if full unit replacement is needed

Turnaround Time: Most warranty claims are resolved within 5-10 business days after approval. Complex cases may take up to 15 business days.

Warranty Transfer

Original Purchaser

The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless:

  • Purchased as a gift with original receipt
  • Business transfer with proper documentation
  • Approved reseller with dealer agreement

International Coverage

For products purchased in Egypt:

  • Warranty is valid only within Egypt
  • International customers must contact local distributors
  • Shipping costs for international claims are customer's responsibility
