Shipping Policy

Clear guidelines for order processing, delivery, and customer responsibilities

1. Order Processing

1.1 Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after payment verification.

Important: Processing time begins when payment is confirmed, not when order is placed. Orders placed after 2 PM EET will be processed the next business day.

1.2 Order Verification

For security purposes, we may require additional verification for:

  • First-time customers
  • Orders exceeding 10,000 EGP
  • International shipping requests

2. Shipping Methods & Delivery

2.1 Domestic Shipping (Egypt)

2.2 International Shipping

Currently, we only ship internationally for bulk orders (minimum 50,000 EGP). Contact sales@printfy3d.com for quotes.

3. Customer Responsibilities

3.1 Address Accuracy

Customers must ensure shipping address is complete and accurate. We are not responsible for:

  • Undeliverable packages due to incorrect addresses
  • Additional shipping fees for address corrections
  • Lost packages due to recipient-provided errors

3.2 Delivery Acceptance

By placing an order, you authorize:

  • Delivery personnel to leave packages at your specified address without signature unless requested
  • Neighbors or building staff to accept delivery on your behalf

Important: Inspect packages immediately upon delivery. Report any visible damage within 24 hours to support@printfy3d.com with photo evidence.

4. Shipping Restrictions

4.1 Prohibited Items

We cannot ship:

  • 3D printers with lithium batteries internationally
  • Resins exceeding 1 liter volume
  • Any items prohibited by Egyptian export laws

4.2 Weather Delays

Extreme weather may delay shipments. We are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Sandstorms
  • Flooding
  • Other force majeure events

5. Damages & Loss Claims

5.1 Damage During Transit

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Refuse delivery and note "Damaged" on receipt
  2. Take photos of packaging and contents
  3. Email evidence to claims@printfy3d.com within 48 hours

5.2 Lost Packages

For packages not delivered within 10 business days of shipment:

  • We will initiate trace procedures with the carrier
  • Claims may take 15-30 days to resolve
  • No refunds will be issued until investigation completes

Non-Refundable Fees: Original shipping fees are non-refundable for lost/damaged packages. Return shipping for replacements is at customer expense.

6. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to our website.

Important Notes:

  • Above rates apply to standard 3D printers/filaments only
  • Oversized items (>10kg) require special quote - contact us before ordering
  • Same-day delivery available in Cairo for +100 EGP (order before 11 AM)

2.2 Bosta Service Guarantees

While we partner with Bosta for reliable shipping, please understand:

  • Delivery estimates are provided by Bosta and not guaranteed
  • We cannot control delays caused by Bosta operations
  • Signature required for all orders over 5,000 EGP
