Return & Exchange Policy

Technical product guidelines for 3D printers, filaments, and resins

General Policy

At PrintFy 3D, we stand behind our products. However, due to the technical nature of 3D printing equipment and materials, special return conditions apply.

Important: All returns require pre-authorization. Contact us at returns@printfy3d.com within the specified timeframes below.

3D Printers

Return Window: 7 days from delivery

Condition: Unused, original packaging

Restocking Fee: 15% if opened

Filaments

Return Window: 14 days from delivery

Condition: Unopened, sealed packaging

Restocking Fee: None if sealed

Resins

Return Window: 7 days from delivery

Condition: Factory sealed only

Restocking Fee: 25% if opened

Warranty & Defective Products

Manufacturer's Warranty

All 3D printers come with a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from improper use or maintenance
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Consumable parts (nozzles, build plates, etc.)
  • Third-party modifications

Report the Issue

Contact our technical team at support@printfy3d.com with:

  • Order number
  • Photos/videos of the defect
  • Description of the issue

Diagnosis

Our engineers will assess whether the issue qualifies under warranty within 3 business days.

Resolution

For approved claims, we'll arrange for repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.

Voided Warranty: Opening the printer casing or attempting DIY repairs automatically voids your warranty. Always consult our technicians first.

Return Process

Request Authorization

Email returns@printfy3d.com with your order number and reason for return.

Receive RMA Number

We'll email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number if approved.

Package Securely

Repack items in original packaging with all accessories. Include the RMA number inside.

Ship Back

Send to: PrintFy 3D Returns, 5 El Aslaky Street, Maadi, Cairo. Customer pays return shipping.

Receive Refund

Processing takes 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect the item.

Quick Exchanges: For faster exchanges, consider ordering the replacement first. We'll credit your account once we receive the returned item.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened resin bottles (due to chemical safety regulations)
  • Used filaments (partial spools or opened vacuum-sealed packages)
  • Custom 3D printed items (made-to-order products)
  • Software licenses (once activated)
  • Clearance/discounted items (marked "Final Sale")

Hygiene Policy: For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on any products that have been installed or used in a 3D printer, including nozzles, build plates, or other installed components.
